Around Minneapolis, you are roughly one thousand times more likely to see a Subaru station wagon with a rainbow bumper sticker on it than see a truck like this.
Out for dinner.

Melba and I joined friend of hers in town from NYC for dinner at the Town Talk Diner. Food was pretty damn good, and the atmosphere hip. Best part was the continuous parade of young, wildly-attired Hispanic people passing by the window headed to the tejano-blasting club next door. Good stuff.
Last gasps of winter?

A fast-moving snowstorm rolled through, dropping big lazy flakes that thankfully melted off almost as fast as they arrived. Spring is coming...

I was in a software training class all afternoon today, but it was for a program I enjoy using (Adobe InDesign) and the instructor was excellent.

Mill City, Pt. 2

I don't feel too guilty about posting two days worth of shots from one outing. I took about 75 pictures and spent about 3 hours to get a couple of decent shots.

I went down to the St. Anthony Falls on the Mississippi River to shoot on Monday night. Since it was pretty late, I made sure to shoot a few pictures after midnight so I could cheat a little and cover two days in one outing.

I have a dartboard in my studio that I like to use when I need to think or ponder creative ideas. I've gotten pretty good at darts, but this round was particularly good.
