A fizziday anti-job

I've been skydiving a couple of times, done a pseudo-bungee thing, love the view from small planes, and am generally not too afraid of heights, but there is no f!cking WAY you could get me to be a window washer. The pay just couldn't possibly be enough.

No, dude, me neither. Unless diapers came with the job.
Pussies
see, i think that looks like fun! when i was a kid i used to love climbing really high trees on windy days.
I couldn't do it either; I can't even stand on a chair or a stepladder without getting a little lightheaded. Meanwhile, I'm trying to decide what "a pseudo-bungee thing" is. It sounds like a very mean practical joke.
Sorry for the delayed replies to your comments, folks... blogger stopped sending me emails.
Nat: Would that make it worth it?
Brie: When I was a kid, I used to have a pretty strong fear of heights, including ladders and trees and such. Now, most of that stuff is fine - but the idea of dangling off the side of a building 20+ stories up just seems like a horrible idea.
Regina: Pseudo-bungee thing was one of those bungee swing dealybobs, where you're attached to the middle of a very slack rope tied between two tall towers, then they hoist you up to the top of a third tower before releasing you to fall/swing. It was pretty damn cool.
In St. Paul I see them pretty regularly and I jsut have to take my hat off to them. No way Jose. I just couldn't do it. That whole "Don't look down thing" And vertigo. Nope, not the job for me either.
