I think I'm finally getting in the mood for Christmas. I've been a pissy little bitch these last few weeks, in need of some good holiday cheer. As if on cue:The billboard is just serendipitous. (Click for larger)
Did you get the HUGE snowflakes in Mpls? In St.Paul it looked more like snowballs than snow flakes. It was gorgeous! I even had to put on a christmas cd while I worked. Totally puts you in the mood for Christmas.
This works out really well since I'm with looking and feeling California (and a little Eastern Europe) but remembering Midwest. Oh, you know not how many -ings had to be discarded to get something close to accurate.
Anyway, I'm a fan of minnesota/Iowa weather as long as it from a distance.
I can handle the kind of snow we had this week... Shoveling took only about 10 minutes, and probably wasn't even necessary at all, as it'll probably all burn off tomorrow. If every snowfall worked like that, I'd be happy.
And I've been a pissy little bitch the past few weeks, too. Glad to know it's not just me.
I'm so jealous! For some reason my city seems to have forgotten it was Christmas. A couple years ago, we almost didn't make it to Christmas at my grandpa's because the snow was so deep. This year...I wore boots and a sweater and I was too hot. Someone told me that it's 65 out today. I daren't go outside yet. It's so puny, I feel like we didn't even have Christmas yet.

We did! The things were massive, like the fake snow in movies. I wanted to go outside and throw snowballs - it was perfect snowball snow.

Well shoot. We haven't even had a flake :(
And nothing predicted, either. It's not even very cold. I seem to be having a whiny Christmas.
Hope you have a merry one!
